And the sun finally came out
2008 October 26
We’re driving down the Long Island Expressway on our way to Aquebogue where we hope to have a lobster roll lunch, our first family hayride, and an afternoon picnic at a winery we’ve been hoping to visit after two visits to Martha Clara Vineyards.
I have a small wheel of camembert and bagel chips, complete with disposable cutlery. I’m glad I got the sun I prayed for. I get my trip to the North Fork of Long Island after all.
While Alan and I don’t mind just chilling out at home, we also try to do things as a family during the weekends, more so now that Angelo can appreciate the “pasyal” part of it.
