July 22, 2012 – I’ve gotten back to my Art Journal Every Day project and have been doing more zentangling, but none of the big projects I’ve been meaning to take on.

I haven’t quite given up on it — I’m just pausing.  In the meantime, I wan to get my two existing projects properly mounted and I will post them here.

The Eiffel tower will just have to wait.

June 1, 2012 – I got into zentangling basically when I joined Julie Fei Fan Balzer’s ART JOURNAL EVERY DAY challenge in 2011.

I have since dropped off the Art Journal Every Day project although I would love to get back into it again someday, and I have my own ART JOURNAL EVERY DAY page here on the blog dedicated to it.

Lately, I’ve been zentangling cards and now “pieces” which I am doing primarily for relaxation, for the love of my home city, New York, and just for the heck of it. =)  For the uninitiated, click here to  learn more about what Zentangling is all about.

I’ll be featuring my Zentangle gallery here, the first work of which was just completed (but yet to be framed and photographed).  I have taken to zentangling the Chrysler Building for starters.  I have a second longer shot of the building I’m currently working on.

I am by no means an artist.  I’m a crafter.  (World’s apart!)  I like zentangling for the relaxation it brings me.  Try it!
